Don Lowe

Don Lowe is the P-Tech liaison for SUNY Orange. He is also an adjunct professor of English at Naugatuck Valley CC and at Mercy College where he teaches public speaking. In addition, over the last 8 years, he has tutored homebound Newtown CT high school and middle school students in a variety of subjects. Originally from North Dakota, Don received his Master’s in Professional Writing from WCSU. He serves on several community boards in Sherman CT and was elected Selectman in 2016. He resides there with his wife, Mary Ann Lamb, and daughter Rosemund and has two grown sons, David and Connor. Don performs as a singer/songwriter in venues throughout the Hudson Valley area and is the open mic host at the venerable Towne Crier Café in Beacon, NY. An avid songwriter and playwright, Don is a published in several writing genres. His hobbies include sports, fishing, hiking, and reading.
